I am a painter working primarily in portraiture, Judaica, and landscape.
My work is rooted in close observation and in a respect for tradition — both artistic and cultural. I am drawn to subjects that carry presence and memory: a face shaped by experience, a ritual held across generations, a place layered with time.
I approach each painting slowly and deliberately. Accuracy matters, but it is never the goal on its own. What interests me is essence — the quiet expression, the tension between stillness and movement, the sense that a painting continues to reveal itself the longer it is lived with.
Alongside my personal work, I accept a limited number of commissions each year. These are collaborative projects, developed through conversation and careful refinement, and are often created to mark moments of significance — personal, familial, or communal.
My paintings are held in private collections internationally and are created to be lived with over time, not simply viewed.
